A little history....

Hylee Training originally was a training barn and the became a lesson barn simply because of the growing need for a lesson barn that provides an all round education for students, in a fun and safe atmosphere.

But, as Hylee Training grew it became apparent that having a full service lesson/leasing barn was time consuming and with Alicia's career taking off in all directions at the same time, it left her no time to enjoy her horses and all her animals like she used to.

Currently....

We are at Blue Meadow Farm with our 4 horses Flashy, Fuzz, Vinnie and Suzy. Currently Flashy and Vinnie are for sale. As we are downsizing before we move to our new home in Maple Ridge in 2009.

This year Fuzz is working on her hunter classes, as she is attending many shows across the Lower Mainland this year. Vinnie has decided he is going to a jumper/eventer so this year he will be attending some of the Horse Trials.

Our focus...

Is the upcoming shows, that are coming up very shortly and finding our new home.

You may have noticed that we have changed our name from Hylee Training to Hylee's Painted Acres. We feel that is a more appropriate and longer lasting name.
